The Deadly Guide to Culture is a project developed by the First People’s State Relations, a department of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the Traditional Owners of the land. The project was established to tell the stories of the First People of this land in a new way and to make these stories accessible to all People. The Deadly Guide To Culture itself is also intended to be built on, with new stories and Cultural markers being added for years to come.
It is with projects like this that we hope to nurture and create a better understanding and respect for the First Nations story of Naarm (Melbourne). This true Cultural story told by Elders and Community leaders from their own Country is one we hope all be proud of.
