About
For Wurundjeri People Bunjil (the wedge-tailed Eagle) is a powerful and significant totem. Bunjil is the Creator and watches over everyone. Bunjil cares for all people, provides guidance and reminds people to respect Country, Ancestors and Elders.
The Wurundjeri People (Woi wurrung language group) are the recognised Traditional Custodians of a large Cultural estate that includes urban, rural lands and waterways. Wurundjeri Country includes the inner city of Melbourne extending North of the Great Dividing Range, east to Mount Baw Baw, South to Mordialloc Creek and West to the Werribee River.
